Getting the word out!

This past Sunday my wife and I were given the opportunity to spread the word about Kelly's Champions. We attended Super Neighborhoods event at Plaza de Americas. I was a little nervous at first, but I quickly got the hang of it. Mrs. McQueen was on it from the start, she has the gift of gab. All in all everything went well and we have Ms.Tarsha Jackson to thank for everything.

Tarsha Jackson is the mother of a child with disabilities, who, at age 10, entered the juvenile justice system and was incarcerated for a misdemeanor for nearly five years. She began a juvenile justice awareness campaign in Harris County, coordinating public rallies and testifying at the local and state committee hearings. She is a state organizer for grassroots leadership, acting representative of Texas Families of Incarcerated Youth, and state liaison for the Community Justice Network for Youth. She also serves on local, state and national task forces for juvenile justice detention alternatives, disproportionate minority confinement, children with special needs and advisory council member for Advocacy, Inc

We are going to change the perception of the crossfit community. The world has to know that we care about the kids that are in need. We are much deeper than PR's and Fran times!
